Good day admins !The thing is that on the new site`s content is displayed incorrectly ,that is, for a place of Russian letters (what nonsense),there is a problem with encoding . Website ,database, encoding windows cp1251 ,everything was done on the local server and then to the hosting here made the transfer . Database created in PSHP admin set a comparison base needed for windows 1251, so again the base itself and the script in the same encoding ,but the website is not displayed properly .. Here it is http://funnyuniverse.net I think it is that the encoding of the server or Apache ,because there seems to have it settings of encodings ..? In General, asking for help in setting up the correct encoding and display the content on the website ,on the website everything seems done correctly and where to look for the problem do not know ..Help !!! |

Well ,Yes, there database is imported ,it is in Russian encoding in windows-1251 engine and template, too in the same encoding ,all data should be in the database stored . |

you have the data in utf-8, can ubeditsya, setting the encoding in the browser. Privedite website and database to a single encoding |

I know that you have this encoding ,but the engine itself is in Russian encoding and content is that ,there will have to completely reinstall the website but how to convert the content for it in your coding will probably not display correctly ,the site was originally done in Russian windows-1251 and now the problem is gonna fix it ..Okay I`ll try to redo everything ,is there any idea how to resolve this .In any case, thanks for the quick response ! |

1251 and utf8 is completely different and not compatible with each other encodings. our no encoding given in the charset in which you loaded the dump. |
